NFL Predictions Against The Spread This Weekend

Just before the second round of the 2016 NFL Division playoffs commence, it is all fun, glamor and profound excitement to all the fanatics of the competitions, with many having speculations and various expectations on who they think will win, and why. The games are usually a favorite to many, and attract massive attention. In light of the NFL predictions against the spread, the following are my independent views on how various games will roll out, over the weekend.

First, there is the hot contest between Kansas City Chiefs and New Englands Patriots. This is hopefully going to be an entertaining game to the fans, but difficult to the players. The Chiefs are at a disadvantage of having injured key players. For instance Rob Gronkowski will reportedly miss in that game, on medical grounds. The Patriots will also have to bear having to play without the crucial roles of Jeremy Maclin, who is an offensive player. This is because the player has merely practiced in the recent past, and not even once for the past one week. My judgment on this one is the Chiefs will struggle to keep up with the tough game within a goal.

Another entertaining encounter scheduled for the weekend is Green Bay Packers who will face it off against Arizona Cardinals. My opinion is that regardless of the fact that the Packers came from behind to force a win against the Washington of a humbling seventeen points, they are not as up to task as this win would try to insinuate.

Bearing in mind that the Cardinals have been on a purported holiday for a week, it is unequivocally true that they have spared all their energy and vigor, and are hoping to put it into action during this match. Their recent thunderous win against the Packers with a merciless 38-8, also reaffirms their untouchable form, in the recent past. Therefore, in light of the recent Cardinals appearances and their performance, I am of the view that they will be all smiles after the encounter, having comfortably outsmarting the Packers.

Another game that will be of keen interest will be Seattle Seahawks, who will be off to weigh on Carolina Panthers. The Seahawks are lucky to be still in the playoffs. Though many would laugh away the probability that the Seahawks will be at a position of containing the ruthless Panthers, I presume they will. I hold the opinion that the Seahawks will outsmart the Panthers, outright.

My argumentation is based on the fact that Seahawks lost to the Panthers by a narrow margin of only four points in their last encounter. This was long before Seahawks reenergized and got into ideal form that saw it end a surprising position one in the overalls of DVOA. I strongly hold that the Seahawks will humble the Panthers, and the Panthers will end up being one of those teams that maintain regular performance throughout the season, only to easily flip in the playoffs.

Another difficult encounter will be between Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos. The former have had a series of downfalls in the last round, and will be aiming at reclaiming their former glory.

They will also be lacking Ben Roethlisberger. Things, in my view, will take a different turn this time, contrary to the previous encounter whereby Pittsburgh Steelers beat Denver Broncos. My expectation on this game is that the Denver Broncos will outweigh the Steelers.
